Technical Description
A Georgian Regency Cylindrical cut glass decanter. It has its original hollow slice cut spire stopper above a wide poring rim. Three hexagonal cut and applied neck rings with slice cut shoulders above a slice and prism cut body. Star cut base
You can find examples of Cylindrical decanters from this era on page 308 of "The Decanter Am Illustrated History of Glass from 1650" by Andy McConnell...which is one of his two books on the subject A fantastic read and full of wonderful illustrations. One of the best-researched and presented glass books on the market.
