Technical Description
A superb 18th-century Balustroid gin glass with a flared rib moulded bell bowl above a shoulder annulated knop, inverted baluster, and basal knop. The piece is supported by a folded conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time King George I died on his way to Hanover in1727. His son, George, Prince of Wales, became King George II of Great Britain.
