Technical Description
An antique Georgian ale glass dating to 1760. It has a long round funnel bowl with nut moulding at the base. Sits on a double series opaque twist stem consisting of a multi-ply spiral band outside a pair of spiral tapes. Conical foot with snapped pontil.
Nut Moulded bowls in combination with opaque twist stems are exceptionally rare.
One of a pair, the other now sold.
