Technical Description
An 18th-century opaque twist wine glass with a flared bucket bowl. Rests upon a single series opaque twist stem consisting of a pair is spiral gauzes. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.
A very interesting glass, the bowl form, a flared bucket, not being one you will find too often. Out of 146 sold opaque twists on our website, we only have one bucket bowl example. Also, single series stems are also far rarer than double series within the opaque twist range.
