Technical Description
A very fine 18th-century pedestal stem wine glass. It has a conical bowl with a solid section at the base above a hollow six sided pedestal stem. Conical folded foot.

England or Europe, c1745 Period of George III.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration

Height: 14.3cm Rim diameter: 6.1cm Foot diameter: 6.4cm.
Historical Relevance
Made around the time of the last Jacobite rising of 1745, which culminated in the battle of Culloden near Inverness in Scotland.
