Technical Description
A fine George II double knop air twist wine glass dating to c1750. It has a bell bowl above a multi-spiral air twist stem with two graduated swelling knops empathizing the curvature of the bowl. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration.

Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the wearing of the kilt was banned in Scotland by the Dress Act in 1746.
