Technical Description
A superb mid 18th Century air twist wine glass. A flared bucket bowl on a single series air twist stem consisting of a spiral air gauze. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.
We haven't had a flared bucket bowl air twist form in the last 3 years...a very elegant glass indeed.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Height: 15cm Rim diameter: 5.5cm Foot diameter: 6.5cm.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time France declared war on Britain during The War of the Austrian Succession in 1744.
