Technical Description
A stunning 18th-century facet cut wine glass with a round funnel bowl.
The bowl has been engraved with a long branch that has various engraved flowers, including carnations and tulips, and a distinctive small butterfly engraved at the end. It then has a smaller separate branch with three small engraved flower heads.
The workmanship is outstanding with polished detailing and diamond point. The lower half of the bowl has been scale facet cut which runs down into the diamond facet cut stem. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.

Period of George III, England c1780.
Condition
Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration.
