Technical Description
19th-century air twist wine glass. A round funnel bowl with a band of rococo style engraving. The multi-spiral air twist stem has a shoulder, baluster and inverted baluster knops. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the first commercial hydroelectric power plant in the world begins generating electricity in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
