Comments
The Eglantier pattern is referenced in the Baccarat 1903-1904 & 1916 catalogues and was very much top of their range.
This type of perfume bottle was called a flacon stilligoutte, or dropper bottle, for dispensing drops of perfume onto cotton balls or handkerchiefs.
From 1860 Baccarat marked their pieces with a circular paper label bearing their logo which as you can imagine get washed and rubbed away over the years. It wasn't until 1936 that Baccarat replaced the traditional paper labels for their permanent acid-etched logo
