Technical Description 

19th century ale glass. The conical bowl is joined to the plain stem by a shoulder knop. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the glass.

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time the poem Tam o’ Shanter by Robert Burns was published in the Edinburgh Herald on the 18th of March 1791.
