Good. One has a small chip to the poring rim. No other chips cracks or restoration, some very minor internal residue and some minor grazing around the foot.

Technical Description 

A pair of mid 19th century Scottish Thistle decanters, probably for Whisky but could be used for any liqueur. Original facet cut ball stoppers above a band of very small diamond cuts with slice cuts below. Polished base. 

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time Henry Morton Stanley found Dr. Livingstone in the town of Ujiji on the shores of Lake Tanganyika on the 10th of November 1871.
