Technical Description
A fine set of six late 19th century port glasses. They have round funnel bowls with delicate flute cutting. Capstan stems above conical feet.
Historical Relevance
On March 14th 1900 US currency goes on gold standard after Congress passes the Currency Act. ON June 7th of the same year, J.H. Taylor wins the British Open Men's Golf, St Andrews at St Andrews.
