Technical Description
19th century cut glass mustard jar. The lid features a star cut finial above diamond and slice cutting. The lid also has an aperture to accommodate a spoon. The slice and diamond cut bowl rests upon a square pedestal base with a star cut pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Venus de Milo was discovered on the Aegean island of Melos.
