Technical Description
19th century rich cut glass decanter. A diamond facet cut neck transitions to a rich cut body featuring diamond and square cut panels bordered with slice cuts. The piece is supported by a scallop cut foot with diamond cutting in the form of a flower head to the base. The stopper is a replacement cut ball.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time construction of the first large-scale electrical power station began, in Deptford in 1891.
