Technical Description 

A 19th century cut glass toddy lifter. The neck is 'pinched' just below the rim above an excellent blade neck ring. Slice cutting below. 

Historical Relevance 

On September 26 1820, the American frontiersman Daniel Boone died in Missouri at the age of 85. He had pioneered the Wilderness Road, which led many settlers westward to Kentucky.
