Technical Description 

18th-century opaque twist wine glass. A wide and deep ogee bowl above a double series opaque twist stem consisting of 6-ply spiral band outside a gauze. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the piece. The shape and depth of this particular ogee bowl is a stand out feature.

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time George III became King of Great Britain on the 23rd of October 1760.
