Technical Description
An exceptionally rare twin handled 18th century custard glass. It has a ribbed round bowl features two applied handles with pinched lower terminals. The piece is supported by a high domed and folded foot which also has rib moulding. An exceptional glass which we can't recall seeing before.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time Blackfriars Bridge across the River Thames in London opened to traffic on the 16th of November 1769.
