Technical Description
A fine 18th century antique wine glass. A bell bowl rests upon a mixed twist stem consisting of a spiral air cable alternating with a heavy spiral opaque thread. A fine example, the piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time Taylors & Lloyds Bank was established in Birmingham in 1765.
