Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration. A very small open air bubble on the inside base of the bowl as shown, which is insignificant.

Technical Description
An early 18th century Baluster wine glass. It has a lipped bucket bowl with a solid section at the base containing a small air tear. Large swelling knop with a large air tear above a basal knop. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.
This is a rare form and we have only had one example in the last 16 years. This form is shown in plate 185 page 99 of Eighteenth Century Drinking Glass by L.M. Bickerton
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Black Watch was raised as a military company to aid the pacification of the Scottish Highlands following the Jacobite rebellion of 1715.
