Technical Description 

An amethyst 19th century cut glass decanter. The long neck is slice cut and transitions to a tapering body. The piece is finished with a star cut base.

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time the clipper ship Cutty Sark was launched, she was one of the last clippers built, and the only one to survive into the 21st century.
