Technical Description
A Webb Corbett coronation decanter. The cylindrocal body features horizontal slice cuts around its circumference. The face is decorated with a crown above G IV R 1937, the reverse is engraved with a rose, shamrock and thistle. A moulded crown stopper tops off the piece with the Webb Corbett mark on the base.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time George VI was coronated after the abdication of his older brother Edward VIII.
