Technical Description 

A 19th-century cranberry wine glass. A peacock blue glass round funnel bowl. The slice cut hollow stem and conical foot is formed in clear glass and finished with a star cut pontil. 

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time Henry Morton Stanley found Dr. Livingstone in the town of Ujiji on the shores of Lake Tanganyika on the 10th of November 1871.
