Technical Description
A Bohemian glass spa carafe. A shaft and globe form decorated with three cartouches surrounded with flowers. Each cartouche contains an exceptional engraving of a place of interest in Bohemia (now Austria and Czechia) including The Kurhaus in Karlsbad and Schonbrunn Palace.
Some of the finest engraving we have seen on any glassware in recent years.
Historical Relevance
Handcrafted around the time Richard Wagner's opera Lohengrin premiered in Weimar under the direction of Franz Liszt.
