Technical Description
A pair of 19th century glass lustres. The brass sconce rests above a wide scallop cut drip pan with all of the clear facet cut droplets remain. This is all supported by a hollow slice cut baluster knopped stem and a slice and scallop cut foot. A star cut pontil completes the piece.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Queen Victoria instituted the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award of the British honours system to this day.
