Technical Description 

A set of six engraved 19th century wine glasses. The round funnel bowl rests upon an elegant plain stem. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a plain pontil. The crest engraved on the bowl (An arm wielding a sword proper) could be that of a number of Scottish and Irish families including Wallace, Grant and O'Donoghue. 

Historical Relevance 

The Queen Mother was born the Honourable Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon on 4 August 1900.
