Technical Description
A Georgian Irish moulded Cork glass decanter. The body features three milled applied neck rings. The shoulder and body are plain. Flute moulding is present on the base as is the Cork Glass Co. pressed mark. The original pinched waffled disc stopper and rough pontil complete the piece.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Apothecaries (1815) Act prohibited unlicensed medical practitioners.
