Technical Description
An 18th century balustroid wine glass. The bell bowl with a solid base rests atop a knopped stem featuring a swelling knop towards the base. The piece is supported by a folded conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time Grog was first issued to the Royal Navy in1740.
