Technical Description
An engraved 18th century glass goblet. A waisted round funnel bowl decorated with engraved fruiting vines rests upon a facet cut stem. The stem is notch and slice cut with a central swelling knop. A petal cut foot with a rough pontil supports the piece.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time The Bank of England issued the first £5 note in 1793.
