18th century opaque twist wine glass. The rib moulded round funnel bowl rests upon a double series opaque twist stem. The stem is comprised of a pair of multi-ply spiral bands outside a pair of spiral threads. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the piece. An exceptional example.
Hand-blown around the time George III became King of Great Britain on the 23rd of October 1760.
