Technical Description
A set of six cut wine glasses by Edinburgh & Leith Glass Co. A round funnel bowl with cut decoration including split, fan and diamond cutting. The knopped stem joins the bowl with a conical foot, finished with star cutting. Each glass bears the Edinburgh Crystal E&L mark on the base.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Glaswegian flyweight Benny Lynch became the first Scottish boxing world champion in 1937.
