Technical Description
A 19th century cut glass decanter. The neck boasts a wide rim and three applied and cut neck rings. This leads to a cut body featuring slice cuts above cross cut diamond swags and flute cutting. A polished pontil completes the piece, the decanter retains its original cut mushroom stopper.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Earl Grey succeeded the Duke of Wellington as Prime Minister in 1830.
