Technical Description
A moulded early 18th century French wine glass. The fine diamond moulded conical bowl rests upon a hollow stem with a shoulder knop. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the piece.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time of the signing of the Treaty of The Hague between Spain, Britain, France, Austria and the Dutch Republic. Thus ending the War of the Quadruple Alliance.
