Technical Description
A pair of 19th century cut glass standing salts. The canoe shaped bowl features an inverted scallop cut rim with notch cut rib moulding below. The moulded four sided stem rests upon an ovular base with a lemon squeezer pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the first soup kitchens opened in London on the 8th of January 1800.
