Technical Description
A Georgian air twist wine glass. The pan topped bowl rests upon a multi-spiral air twist stem featuring a swelling knop. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the wearing of the kilt was banned in Scotland by the Dress Act in 1746.
