Technical Description
A very rare pair of Royal Worcester centrepieces. The long bases are decorated with shells. One piece also features a lizard on the base. The male piece features a man stroking a puppy on his lap. The female example shows the lady gesturing to the lizard below. Both pieces have Diamond registration marks. One piece has an impressed Royal Worcester mark. Both are marked Phillips and Pearce Bond Street for the establishment where they would be sold. An exceptionally rare pair which you won't find on any other web site.

Hand-blown around the time Sainsbury's first store opened, in Drury Lane, London on the 22nd of May 1869.
