Technical Description
A Georgian air twist wine glass. An ogee bowl with rib moulding to the lower half. This rests upon an air twist stem, the twist is comprised of two pairs of corkscrews. The piece is supported by a conical foot finished with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the wearing of the kilt was banned in Scotland by the Dress Act in 1746.
