Technical Description
A pair of Webb Corbett wine glasses. The conical bowl is decorated with wave and ears of corn. A short plain stem joins the bowl with a conical foot. The base features an etched ‘Webb Corbett Made in England’ mark. This Wave and ear pattern was designed by Irene Stevens.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time Winston Churchill resigned as Prime Minister due to ill-health at the age of 80 on the 5th of April 1955.
