Technical Description
A moulded 18th century pedestal stem glass sweetmeat. The cup bowl features rib moulding, this rests upon a six-sided pedestal stem with an air tear. A folded foot with a rough pontil supports the piece.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the British settlement of Halifax, Nova Scotia was founded in 1749.
