Excellent, age-related wear as shown. One very small nibble on the wear line of the foot, measuring 1mm at widest. Very much part of the natural wear of the glass.

Technical Description
An 18th century double series air twist wine glass. A round funnel bowl rests upon an air twist stem. The stem is comprised of a pair of multi-ply spiral bands outwith a pair of spiral corkscrews. The piece is supported by a conical foot finished with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time John Canton read a paper in the presence of the Royal Society on a method of making artificial magnets.
