Technical Description
A superb 18th century Baluster stem goblet. A large bell bowl rests upon a baluster stem featuring a teared flattened ball knop with cushion knops above and below all above a basal knop. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time George, Prince of Wales, became King George II of Great Britain.
