Technical Description
A very fine Georgian facet cut wine glass dating to c1790.
It has a round funnel bowl with an OXO band around the rim. Slice cut arches start at the base of the bowl and continue down the stem which also has an air tear at the top. Conical foot.
A really nice glass and an excellent example of late 18th facet cut era workmanship.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown, no chips cracks or restoration

This glass comes from the Michael Wallis collection which took over 45 years to build and contains over 250 drinking glasses, covering all forms from the 18th century, many exceptionally rare. They will all be presented by Exhibit over the coming weeks and months.
