Technical Description
A superb set of four sherry glasses designed in Stourbridge by Joseph Keller. The round funnel bowls show incredibly fine engraved detail portraying butterflies, spiderwebs with flowers leaves, and ferns. Plain stems and feet with polished pontils.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration

Comments
Josef Keller was born in Bohemia in 1850 and started work for Stevens and Williams in 1871. His fine detailed engraving is some of the best ever produced, the beautiful webs and butterflies being amongst his best pieces.
