Age-related wear as shown. The foot and spout have been slightly polished and there is an internal stress crack at one of the handles lower terminals which is quite common on the form of handle.

Technical Description
An 18th century lidded glass posset pot. The lid has a folded rim and an air beaded finial. A bell shaped bowl features two applied handles and a swan necked spout. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil. A superb piece and very unusual to find such a large example with its original lid.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time of the Boston Tea Party on the 16th of December 1773.
