Technical Description
A superb large example of a 19th century engraved claret jug dating to c1760.
It has its original spire stopper which has been slice cut and engraved with fruiting vine. Poring section to the front with notch on the rim. Applied slice cut strap handle. Slice cut neck leading down to two hexagonal cut neck rings. Slice cut bod again with matching fruiting vine engravings. Radial cut foot.
An exceptional example in exceptional condition.
