Technical Description
An 18th century air twist wine glass with a pointed round funnel bowl which has a combination of hammer and rib moulding. The multi-spiral air twist stem with a shoulder knop rests upon a conical foot featuring a rough pontil. This is excellent glass and a rare form.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Westminster Bridge was officially opened for the general public to use on the 18th of November 1750.
