Technical Description
A very unusual late 18th century air twist cordial glass.
It has a narrow flared round funnel bowl above a thin multi spiral air twist stem. Sits on a high conical foot with a snapped pontil.
Lead glass, dark metal, very unusual form and probably either continental low countries or more lightly Norwegian.

Date & Origin
Europe or Norway, c1780. Period of George III.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration. There is a little kink in the foot shape from manufacture.

Height: 15.6cm Rim diameter: 3.2cm Foot diameter: 6.1cm.
