Technical Description
A large and very impresive wine goblet made in Bohemia in around 1860.
Flashed ruby red, it has a large round funnel bowl with enamelled decoration around the rim, base of bowl and foot. Very finely cut to clear to present a collection of animals and buildings in a forest scene. Very delicate work and I dont recall seeing another example. Large plain stem above a conical foot.
Date & Origin
Bohemia, c1860. Period of Victoria
Condition
No chips cracks or restoration, the internal bowl is a little cloudy but its doesnt detract from the glass and is quiet minor.
