Technical Description
An 18th-century pedestal wine glass dating to c1740.
It has a round funnel bowl with a solid section at the base. Shoulder ball knop above a hollow six sided pedestal stem. Conical folded foot.
Date & Origin
Europe or England, c1740. Period of George II.
Condition
No chips cracks or restoration. Lead free, small air bubbles, hand tooling as expected. A fine example.

Height: 15.3cm Rim diameter: 6.2cm , Foot diameter: 7.1cm.
Historical Relevance Hand-blown around the time of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, led by Charles Edward Stuart.
