Technical Description
A fine 18th-century pedestal wine glass dating to c1725.
It has a large conical bowl with a solid section at the base. Eight sided pedestal stem with diamonds on the shoulders. Conical folded foot.

No chips cracks or restoration

Historical Relevance Hand-blown around the time of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, led by Charles Edward Stuart.

This glass comes from the Michael Wallis collection which took over 45 years to build and contains over 250 drinking glasses, covering all forms from the 18th century, many exceptionally rare. They will all be presented by Exhibit over the coming weeks and months.
